The Kangaroo Island Natural Resources Management Board consists of nine community members selected for their knowledge, skills and experience in managing the natural resources on Kangaroo Island. The KI NRM Board is currently comprised of the following members:

• Shirley Pledge
• Peggy Rismiller OAM 
• Kathie Stove
• Tony Trethewey
• Craig Wickham

Three Government Agency representatives, who do not have voting rights, have also been selected to assist and contribute to the board and currently include:

• Lisa Mensforth (DEWNR)
• Steven Watson (Kangaroo Island Council)

Appointment of Members

Board members are appointed by the Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation for a maximum of a six year term. For further information on the appointment of board members please contact the Natural Resources Centre on (08) 8553 4444.

Three Advisory Committees have been established to assist the KI NRM Board deliver NRM across Kangaroo Island:
