Assisting the Community program aims to help enhance the already considerable skills and knowledge of community groups, volunteers and landholders and encourage them to undertake best practice management of natural resources on Kangaroo Island.
Importance
Thirty-six percent of remnant native vegetation exists on private land on Kangaroo Island. This program will provide support to the community, groups, volunteers and landholders to undertake best practice management on NRM assets.
