What's the KI NRM Board?

The Kangaroo Island NRM Board became responsible for managing, protecting and restoring Kangaroo Island’s unique natural resources on 1 July 2005. It replaced the previous KI Natural Resources Board, KI Soil Conservation Board and KI Animal Plant Control Board to provide integrated, holistic and coordinated natural resources management for the Island’s soil, water, coastal and natural biodiversity assets.

Board Meetings

Board meetings are held on the fourth Monday of every month in Kingscote. Visitors are welcome to attend. Contact the Board office for further details if you’re interested. KI NRM Board meeting agendas and minutes are available here through the Document Library.
